Purpose

• This round is NOT for Force-on-Force use. This is a target round ONLY.
• Intended for use as a training round in shorter range situations such as shoot houses, 25-meter ranges or in MOUNT/FIBUA ranges during CQB type training.
• Specifically designed so that its impact energy is only 15 Joules (11.1 ft lbs) on average.

• Limited Penetrations – Singular shots will not penetrate ¾” plywood, reducing damage to training facilities, target traps, etc.
• Reliable and accurate short range Lethal CQB Target Training.
• Safety - the 5.56mm TBR cartridge has a recessed rim fire power load and will only function in a UTM TBR conversion.
• An accurate and reliable alternative to “Live” ammunition (SRTA, CQT, Frangible, Ball) for CQB Target Based Training.
• Realistic and consistent cyclic rates in semi-automatic and automatic weapons, which match “Live” fire.
• Surpasses “Live Fire” reliability.
• Minimal environmental impact - low emission and available in non-toxic option only

Usage Guidelines

• This round is NOT for Force-on-Force use. This is a target round ONLY. 
• UTM TBR converted weapons must be fired “clean and dry” in the weapon bore and barrel. NO LUBRICATION IN THE BARREL.
• Appropriate hearing and eye protection (safety glasses or goggles) is mandatory.
• Intended only for supervised training conducted in accordance with UTM safety training protocols by military, law enforcement or professional training and security organizations.
• Keep all ammunition out of the reach of children.
